Thanks Annie. I guess what you're saying is, there are no hard and fast rules, cheat sheets or checklists. (Damn!)
ReplyDeleteSo I'll just go for it and listen to what feels right.
:o)
Thanks, Annie.
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your questions:
a. When you say the final section? How far along are you?
- The book is complete.
b. Why do you feel the need for heightened emotion? Hasn’t there been any before or was it muted?
- I've paid for a critique and the reviewer thought that it could be more emotional. (I was quite comfortable with my ending, but perhaps I was mistaken.)
c. Has it been plain sailing in their relationship. Which leads to the question that, if so, perhaps you then feel the need for drama.
- Not plain sailing, at all. Hero and heroine were at arms' lenght, then through new understanding were on the verge of getting together when extreme circumstances forced them apart - and no contact was allowed.
d. And lastly is the problem caused by a measure of your non-involvement with the protagonists?
- I don't think so.
